When a little girl asked her parents for a pet dragon for Christmas they explained that there weren’t any but suggest she contact the scientists at CSIRO to see what they could do. The result was a 3d, titanium Toothless crafted using electron beams at their Additive Manufacturing facility in Melbourne.
"All her friends are now saying they want to be a scientist and Sophie says she now wants to work at CSIRO. She’s saying Australian scientists can do anything,” Melissah told the Canberra Times.
